The Jonathan foundation welcomes you
For more than 25 years the Jonathan foundation is a known charity foundation in The Netherlands. We are involved in the support and conservation off small projects. The projects are for children and young adults with an intellectual disability in the Copperbelt, a province in Zambia. Where possible we will give advice and raise funds for the projects.
Children and young adults with an intellectual disability are not receiving the care and attention they need. Epilepsy is for many of these children and young adults with an intellectual disability an additional problem.
All the board members are volunteers, each of them came in to contact with the Jonathan foundation in different ways, all inspired by the recounts from the founders and project workers.
The Jonathan foundation is currently supporting children and young adults with epilepsy. Many of these children and young adults also are intellectually disabled.

The Jonathan foundation wanted to address a bigger audience, so we started a Facebook page in the last quarter of 2016.
